In his day, Virender Sehwag was the most intimidating batsman in the world, he was a nightmare for bowlers when he entered the international scene in 1999.
His unique style earned him 23 Test hundreds, two triple-centuries and almost 8586 runs in 104 matches.
Australia has suffered on numerous occasions, with Sehwag collecting three Test centuries against them, including a fierce 195 which ended before stumps on the opening day of the 2003-04 Boxing Day Test.
He also made more than 8000 runs in one-day internationals and while he has reached three figures 15 times in that format, he only managed three fifties in 28 matches against Australia.
