Bio

A left-arm pacer with plenty of speed, Wahab Riaz has struggled with consistency at times since making his international debut in early 2008.

One of the highlights of his one-day international career came in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2011 when he took 5-46 against India in the semi-finals, in a performance that remains his best in an ODI.

The quick has been a more regular member of the one-day team in recent times and will hope to make an impact with the ball at his second World Cup in 2015.

Riaz returned to the Test team for the first time in three years in 2014 when he was named in the side to play Sri Lanka in August.
