Profile
Clint McKay proved his mettle in the ODI series against England, standing out as the only Australian bowler to trouble the England batsmen.
His England success was preceeded by an outstanding Commonwealth Bank Series at home, where he took 5/28 against Sri Lanka in the final match of the series, his best bowling to date.
McKay made his ODI debut for Australia in November 2009 against India and later that summer earned a Baggy Green for Australia against the West Indies.
McKay is a proven wicket-taker for the Victorian Bushrangers and popular with the Bushrangers fans. In BBL|01 he line-up for the Melbourne Stars.
With his running-in-treacle approach to the wicket and front on action, he doesn’t necessarily fit the mould of the modern fast bowler, but he has established himself as a key component to the Australian attack.
