A big year in the career of David Warner.
The destructive opener was rewarded for his outstanding form in the short game with a Baggy Green.
Typically, Warner wasted little time scoring his maiden Test 100 in the second Vodafone Test Match against New Zealand at Blundstone Arena, cementing his credentials in First Class cricket.
Warner again starred in the KFC T20 Big Bash, this year for Sydney Thunder, leading the team to a first round victory blasting 102 from 51 balls.
He has also excelled in Sheffield Shield, averaging 45.83, including a maiden First class century (114), against Western Australia, after coming perilously close the previous month with 99 against Victoria. Warner then continued the momentum by having a superb tour of Zimbabwe with the Australia A side, including a career best 211 in the innings defeat of a strong Zimbabwe X1.
