Poulton is an aggressive top-order batter and clean striker who has been a regular in the Commonwealth Bank Southern Stars squad in recent years.
The St George Sutherland club cricketer made her international debut in 2006 and has since played a total of 76 matches for her country across all formats.
In that time she has also notched up two international centuries and gets a chance to bowl her leg-spin.
She has been in sparling touch for NSW so far this season, leading the run-scorers in both Wt20 and WNCL matches to the end of November.
