An up and coming gun of the Commonwealth Bank Southern Stars squad, Lanning made an immediate impact on the international scene scoring a century in her ODI debut at the WACA Ground last season against England.
The opening bat has been dominating attacks while playing for the VicSpirit and with a full range of shots, she is extremely hard to bowl to, pouncing on any wayward delivery. Lanning is also working hard on her fast bowling which could add another exciting option to her game.
