The Fury will be hoping all-rounder Bhavi Devchand steps up in 2013. The 20 year old has been touted as a potential star, but has struggled to make an impact throughout her budding career.
With 37 runs from five 50-over matches, as well as 17 from five T20 innings, Devchand hasn’t delivered the eye-catching knock she is more than capable of.
Devchand has been generally economical in the T20 arena, and has two wickets to her name.
The all-rounder was a regular in the Fury squad at the start of last season, but missed out on selection as her form started to taper.
Known to possess a nasty (wrong word, tricky?) slower ball, Devchand will need to start the new season with a bang if she wants to fight her way back into the state starting XI.
