Chloe Piparo should be able to lock down a spot in the middle-order if she continues her consistent form for the Fury.
Piparo is an outstanding junior prospect for Australia and recently captained the Under-18’s national team at their Talent Camp in Brisbane, scoring a century against Papua New Guinea.
Although she isn’t a flashy batsman, the 19 year old has scored runs at crucial times during her blossoming career.
The youngster has managed 98 runs in her eight 50-over matches, including a best of 37 back in 2012.
Her form in the T20 arena has been mixed, although she has rarely come in at opportune moments.
With an average hovering in the mid-teens, Piparo should be looking to lift her strike rate to cement her spot in the side.
Handy knocks of 16, 21 and 32* highlighted the 2012/13 season.
