Only a deep talent pool has prevented Jenny Wallace from playing for Australia. The wicketkeeper has been exceptional with the bat, and could have been considered as a specialist batsman last season.
In an illustrious career, Wallace has maintained an average over 20 in all three forms of the game.
Her form with the gloves has also been nothing short of spectacular. Wallace has 50 T20 dismissals, 100 in the 50-over format, and 91 in the longest form of the game.
Wallace finished 2013 in red-hot form, with the 30 year old taking out the WT20 Player of the Year Award (*for the whole competition).
Wallace ended 2012 with 35 against South Australia, before plundering big scores against ACT in all three games.
She hit 49* and 45 in the two T20 clashes, and managed 41 in the one-dayer.
Wallace then blasted a career best 96 in a gallant effort during the 50-over semi-final against NSW.
The opener then finished the season with scores of 23 and 24.
Arguably their best batter last year, the Fury will be looking to Wallace for much of the same in 2013/14.
