Local product Melissa Cameron will be keen to break into the Fury side in 2013/14. The youngster has been a revelation in junior competitions, and according to her new coach, has the potential to be a future star.
Still only very young, Cameron has impressed many with her all-round bowling talents.
Cameron was the leading wicket-taker in the under-18 competition last season.
New coach, Steve Jenkin, sees Cameron as a possible weapon in 2013.
“She's only very young and we've brought her in for the future. Aaron Hamilton and I believe she's got good potential to be a very good bowler.”
Cameron starred against Victoria in a T20 clash last season, claiming 3/18 as WA upset their more fancied rivals.
