With plenty of experience in the Under-17 and Under-18 competitions, Taneale Peschel seems ready to make her first-class debut for the Fury later this year.
It took a while for Peschel to make an impact, with the youngster not handed the ball in her first few matches.
However, the step up to Under-18’s worked wonders for the all-rounder, who had a glittering 2012.
Peschel started the Ballarat tournament with 23 runs and a wicket against Queensland, before claiming another wicket against South Australia.
Peschel was economical against NSW, but failed to take a wicket as the Fury went down by 38 runs.
The ACT felt the force of the Fury star, as Peschel decimated them in a T20 match-up. Peschel belted 31, picked up 2/21 and produced a run out in a beaten side.
Her incredible form continued with a brutal spell of 5/17 to help roll Tasmania for just 51.
She finished the campaign with 3/25 from 10 overs against South Australia to confirm her status as one of the best bowlers coming through the ranks.
If her 2012 form is anything to go by, Peschel is ready to make her mark in the WNCL in 2013/14.
