    What happens if it rains?

    ·          The on-field umpires will determine when the rain is too heavy for play to continue

    ·          The ground staff will at that point put the covers onto the square – the level of coverage will determine how heavy the rain is and how long they believe it will stay around for

    ·          A determination of when play might commence/recommence is that the ground staff will confirm how long it will take them to prepare the ground once the rain has stopped

    ·          Depending on how long this might be, breaks may be called during this period however this will be determined by the very complicated playing conditions.
