Watson Wednesday: Watto blasts first Big Bash century
One of the Big Bash’s brightest stars, it took Shane Watson until the latter stages of his career to finally log his first century.
The 61-ball ton wasn’t without controversy, with the game being abandoned in the second innings after a light failure at the Gabba.
Faulkner Friday: Super over special from Faulkner the Finisher
Known commonly as ‘The Finisher’ for his late-game prowess with both bat and bowl, James Faulkner had no problem facing a super-over against the Sydney Sixers in BBL|04.
Balls disappeared over the rope as Faulkner guided the Stars to 0-19 from six balls.
