Tim Bresnan Tuesday: Paceman steps up with 3fa in final

Despite being in the latter stages of his career, Tim Bresnan was a key member of the Perth Scorchers side which reached the final in BBL|06.

The Sydney Sixers’ tail crumbled as Bresnan took late wickets and added a Big Bash title to his resume.

David Willey Wednesday: Left-armer rolls through Thunder top order

Staying in Perth, where another Englishman took his turn to shine earlier in BBL|06.  

Against the Sydney Thunder in January 2017, David Willey produced two cracking deliveries to leave the reining champions in serious trouble at 2-17.
