Rashid returns for Black Caps clash

The Black Caps win the toss and elect to bowl at Swalec Stadium

England have recalled ace leg-spinner Adil Rashid for Tuesday's ICC Champions Trophy encounter against New Zealand in Cardiff.

Rashid returns in place of injured paceman Chris Woakes, who was ruled out of the tournament with a side strain he suffered in England's opening match against Bangladesh.

New Zealand have kept the same XI that faced Australia in the washed-out fixture in Birmingham on Friday.

Captain Kane Williamson scored ODI century No.9 in the trans-Tasman clash while speedster Adam Milne picked up 2-9 before rain ended play.

Match wrap: Wet and wild in trans-Tasman tussle

Both sides can afford to lose this game and still qualify for the semi-finals, but a win would be a massive boost to their playoffs hopes.
