Australian cricketers both past and present have taken to social media to say thanks on Mother’s Day.
Australia vice-captain David Warner, who is currently captaining Sunrisers Hyderabad in the Indian Premier League, sent his best wishes to his mother Lorraine from afar, also paying tribute to his wife Candice, who is mother to Ivy Mae and Indi Rae.
Happy Mother's Day to my beautiful mother @warnerlorraine she has been nothing but amazing for me in my life. This pic shows how little time we get to spend with our families while we are away playing cricket but I know without fail she will always text me or call everyday saying she loves me. have a great day mum. Love you. #60thedaypic

While a wrist injury cut short Australia skipper Steve Smith's IPL campaign with Rising Pune Supergiants, it did allow him to spend some quality time with his mother, Gillian, before he jets off on the Qantas tour of the West Indies at the end of the month.
