Black Caps wary of West Indies run repeat

New Zealand have found World Cup form, but remain mindful of the West Indies explosive batting capability

New Zealand paceman Lockie Ferguson and his teammates know all too well the frightening potential of a West Indies outfit at full strength with the bat.

The Black Caps were on the receiving end of a 421-run total in a pre-tournament warm-up game last month, as Shai Hope (101 from 86) and Andre Russell (82 from 39) went ballistic with the bat in Bristol.

New Zealand responded with a respectable total of 330, but still fell 91 runs short of victory.
