Magic Mills claims T20 hat-trick

A host of KFC BBL stars produced the goods at Hove on Tuesday

Sussex Sharks paceman Tymal Mills claimed a hat-trick in his side's emphatic 98-run thrashing of Glamorgan in England's domestic T20 competition,

Mills captured the final three wickets in consecutive balls to dismiss Glamorgan for 88 after Sussex compiled 5-186.

The left-armer removed tailenders Andrew Salter, Timm van der Gugten and finally Australian fast bowler Michael Hogan to complete the competition's third hat-trick this season, behind Kent's Joe Denly and teammate Jofra Archer. 

Mills finished with 3-20 from 2.3 overs, while his Sussex and Hobart Hurricanes teammate Archer dismissed Glamorgan's key batsman Colin Ingram for just one.

Afghanistan and Adelaide Strikers wrist-spinner Rashid Khan was the pick of the bowlers with 3-9 from three overs.

Earlier, Laurie Evans hit an unbeaten 47-ball 63 to propel the hosts to a significant total.

Michael Burgess chipped in with 39, while Archer's six-ball onslaught yielded two fours and two sixes.
