Bryant is not your textbook Allrounder, he very much favours the bat and doesn’t have the finesse that some of the other players in the squad possess, but if there is one player that can take the game away from the opposition within the first ten overs, it is Bryant.
The Gold Coast teen was a class above at the Under 17 National Championships and whilst he didn’t set the world alight at the Under 19s, selectors have clearly factored in the youngster’s age and have made the concerted effort to hone the raw talent. Bryant can also act as a change-up bowler and has the brute strength beyond his 17-years, largely attributed to his years as a halfback in the Rugby League system.
