As we come to the end of another Movember, we select the greatest XI Australia has produced based on one specific selection criteria
Australia's all-time Movember XI
Australian cricket has a long and proud tradition of exquisite facial hair. Some of our nation’s best players have worn a lip rug to terrify the opposition on the pitch.
Mitchell Johnson famously destroyed England en route to an Ashes whitewash in 2013-14, and Dennis Lillee tormented the old enemy in his pomp.
And while full beards are more in vogue right now, some Australian crickets are synonymous with moustaches.
Cricket is again in the midst of its annual Movember fundraising efforts.
The Movember Foundation – Cricket Australia’s official men’s health charity partner – is the only charity tackling men’s health on a global scale, year-round. Since 2003, millions have joined the movement, raising more than A$770 million to change the face of men’s health across prostate cancer, testicular cancer, mental health and suicide prevention.
