The Scorchers stumbled on the final stage, but with an ace up their sleeve are already eyeing going a step further in WBBL|04
Scorchers can bounce back: Sciver
Not much went right for Perth Scorchers in the Rebel WBBL|03 Final, but allrounder Nat Sciver is backing the team to bounce back and again be a big contender for the WBBL|04 title.
A tight start from the Sydney Sixers bowlers heaped the pressure on openers Elyse Villani and Nicole Bolton, and when player-of-the-match Sarah Coyte broke through for the big wicket of the Scorchers' captain, it triggered a 3-6 collapse and the Scorchers never recovered, eventually bowled out for 99.
The Sixers cruised to their second title win in a row, passing the target just one wicket down and with five overs to spare.
