Ricky Ponting joins the Cricket Network

Ponting will bring unparalleled insights and analysis directly to the Cricket Network this summer

Former Australian captain Ricky Ponting will be the face of Cricket Network's online coverage this summer, adding an unrivalled level of experience and expertise to Australia's number one cricket website.

A veteran of eight Ashes campaigns, including four as captain, Ponting will deliver exclusive analysis and insight during the Magellan Ashes between Australia and England as well as the KFC Big Bash League.

Not only will Ponting provide a thorough preview of both the Ashes and the BBL, he will be on location throughout the summer to analyse the biggest moments as they happen.

And his exclusive wrap of each Test match, as well as his look back at the end of the Ashes series and the BBL, will make Cricket Network a must for all cricket fans this summer.
