The Next Gen: Sam Grimwade (Victoria)

Grimwade has been long-touted as the next big spin bowler to come from the National Youth Pathway system with talent managers having big wraps on the Victorian. In the National Championship system for three years now, Grimwade has been included in tours to India, the UK and most recently Dubai where he played on spin conducive wickets and bowled brilliantly. His average for a spinner is elite and has a number of variation balls that he can fall back on.
