Bio

A young batsman who shifted to South Australia from the ACT in search of opportunities at state level, Ross made runs in the 2014 Matador Cup and then earned a BBL contract with the Adelaide Strikers, making his debut in game one against Melbourne Stars.

A hard-hitting right handed batsman, Ross enjoyed an outstanding 2015-16 and joined some decorated figures when he received the Bradman Young Cricket of the Year award at the Allan Border Medal night.

He fell just short of notching a maiden century in an otherwise impressive summer, recording scores of 88 not out and 97 out in the Matador Cup and 92 not out in the Sheffield Shield.

The 'sweepologist' as touted by former Australia fast-bowler Damien Fleming, Ross swept his way to a big deal with Brisbane Heat in BBL|06 and looks like he would be comfortable on the international stage if he got the chance.
