Anna Peterson has forged a name for herself as a woman with nerves of steel after some gutsy performances where she managed to concede less than three runs off a final over to claim a win over the West Indies in a T20 in 2018.
She started playing cricket when she was just five years old, appearing for the Takapuna Red Stars.
Peterson first caught everyone's attention in a T20 series against Australia where her hat-trick helped seal a series win for New Zealand.
She has appeared in three T20 World Cups, including the 2020 edition.
