Player Story

Ashan Priyanjan made his one-day international debut for Sri Lanka in December 2013.

The middle-order batsman, who also bowls handy off-spin, captained Sri Lanka in the 2008 ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup before becoming a regular member of the Sri Lanka A team.

Priyanjan’s performances for that side were enough to see him elevated to the national squad and he scored a memorable 74 in his ODI debut against Pakistan in December 2013.
