Opening batswoman Ayasha Rahman made her international debut in an ODI against Pakistan in August 2012, followed by her T20I debut against India less than a year later.
She displayed consistency in her batting during the Women's Twenty20 Asia Cup in 2018, accumulating 101 runs in her six innings.
Rahman was also Bangladesh's leading run scorer in the ICC WT20 World Cup Qualifiers in 2018, where she also struck a match-winning 46 in the final against Ireland.
She has featured in four T20 World Cups so far, most recently selected for the 2020 edition.
