Bio

Standing at almost two metres tall, Cameron Gannon’s promising start to his domestic career stalled when he was suspended by Cricket Australia for an illegal bowling action in 2013.

It came after he had collected 31 Shield wickets at 23.51 during the 2012-13 summer, which included dismissing Michael Clarke twice in Queensland’s win over a star-studded NSW side in Brisbane.

Having re-modelled his action and been cleared to return for the 2013-14 season, Gannon played two Shield matches for the Bulls and took 18 wickets in eight matches for Brisbane Heat.

Gannon was a member of Melbourne Renegades’ KFC Big Bash League squad last season and was named in Queensland’s Matador BBQs One-Day Cup squad for 2016-17.
