Bio

Allrounder Carlos Brathwaite broke into the West Indies one-day international team in late 2011, named in the side which met Bangladesh at Chittagong.

Brathwaite had to wait more than three years for his next opportunity in the senior team, but he remained in the thoughts of selectors and in 2014, was named captain of West Indies A for a tour of Sri Lanka.

His reward for that tour was a place in the ODI squad for the January 2015 series against South Africa.

Brathwaite came to prominence when he smashed four successive sixes in the final over to hand the West Indies their second World T20 title.
