A veteran of two one-day World Cups, Chamara Silva has been a useful batsman for Sri Lanka at various times over his career.
Silva was first picked as a 19-year-old and starred during his ODI debut with a composed 55 before being stumped off Shane Warne in Colombo.
After struggling to secure a spot, he was called back under coach Tom Moody’s reign and played 11 Tests, 75 ODIs and 16 T20Is.
He has Test high-score of 152 not out and a ODI best of 107 not out.
