Solway has earned himself a Rookie Contract in the best way possible: By putting runs on the board.
The opener was one of the best batsmen in the McDonald’s Sydney First Grade competition in 2014/15.
Across all three formats, Solway finished the season with an enormous 1360 runs at 59.13 including an unbeaten 184 against St George.
The 20-year-old has also spent time in representative sides, including the NSW team that won the 2011/12 U/17 National Championships where he played alongside fellow rookie, Mickey Edwards.
