The aggressive middle-order batsman made his T20I debut for the Proteas in September 2012. Behardien made his highest-score of 64-not-out against England in Southampton in 2017.
Behardien then made is ODI debut against New Zealand in 2013. It only took him four games to reach his maiden international fifty and he has been a solid contributor for South Africa since.
He has an outstanding record in domestic limited-overs cricket and is known for his speed between the wickets and his agile fielding.
Behardien travelled to Australia for the November 2014 ODI series where he played all five matches including a top score of 63 in Sydney.
His average of over 30 and a strike-rate of nearly 100 suggests he is a very handy one-day cricketer.
