A tall fast bowler capable of bowling at around 150km/h, Jake Haberfield was born in Queensland but played his early state cricket at South Australia before moving to Victoria in 2013.
He made his first-class debut in 2009 but made the biggest impression for the Redbacks in one-day cricket, and moved to the Bushrangers boasting a record of 54 wickets at 21.40 from 31 matches.
Interestingly, he couldn’t force his way into Victoria’s Ryobi Cup side in his first season, managing to play just two Sheffield Shield matches that summer.
