Bio

Opener Jake Weatherald was rewarded with a South Australian contract for the 2016-17 season after displaying his wares the previous year.

Weatherald put his name up in lights in the Sheffield Shield final against Victoria, registering half-centuries in both innings, including 96 in the second dig.

The left-hander from the Northern Territory looks a player with a bright future.

Weatherald became the first player to score a hundred in a BBL final against the Hurricanes in 2018.
