An off-spinning allrounder from Canberra, Jason Floros earned a rookie contract for Queensland after he was named Player of the Championship in Australia's Under-19 domestic competition in 2009-10 and earned selection in Australia's squad for the Under-19 World Cup.

Floros struggled to earn a regular spot for the Bulls in his early seasons, but played a crucial role in his state’s One-Day Cup final win over Victoria in 2013.

In his only game for the season, Flores hit a vital 47 in Queensland’s total of 146, which they defended to win the title by just two runs.

The emerging Floros has become a regular for Brisbane Heat in the KFC Big Bash League over recent seasons, boasting a strike rate of over 100.

He was named captain of Queensland’s Matador BBQs One-Day Cup squad for 2016-17, with Usman Khawaja absent because of international duties, underlining how far he has come.

An athletic and agile fielder, he has played alongside Australia's Test team as a substitute fielder at the Gabba.
