Edinburgh-born Kasperek's cricketing journey has been spread across different parts of the world.

She made her debut for Scotland aged only 15, eventually flying down to Australia to play for Western Australia in the WNCL during the 2011/12 season. The allrounder moved onto play for the Wellington women's side in the season that followed, followed by yet another switch to play for Otago.

Kasperek's perseverance finally bore fruit when she made her debut for New Zealand in a WODI against India in June 2015. Her WT20I debut came in the series too.

A standout WODI performance by her came in 2018 against Ireland when she posted an incredible 113 off 105 balls.
