Bio

A stocky right-arm fast bowler from North Queensland, the man known as ‘The Sheriff’ still mixes cricket with a full-time job with Queensland Police.

He made his first-class debut against the Bushrangers in 2009, knocking over Nick Jewell in his first over, before later that night being forced to put his policing skills to good use after an intruder broke into his hotel room.

One of Feldman’s most impressive performances with the ball came during the 2012-13 BBL season, when he took 10 wickets for Sydney Sixers at an impressive economy rate of 6.53.

The son of former Queensland One Nation party leader Bill Feldman, Luke was at the crease for the famous ‘tied draw’ against Victoria at the MCG in the 2011-12 season.

Feldman has been a member of five KFC Big Bash franchises – Hobart Hurricanes, Sydney Sixers, Sydney Thunder, Melbourne Stars and Brisbane Heat – he will be at the Heat again this summer.
