In his career to date, Matthew Short has showed that he can play and thrive alongside his more experienced counterparts. 

Short has played in the Under-19 World Cup, for the National Performance Squad and is a member of the Victorian squad.

The off-spinner from Northcote was vice-captain of the Cricket Australia XI in the 2016 Matador BBQs One-Day Cup competition.

Short has also been a member of Melbourne Renegades' KFC Twenty20 Big Bash squad.
