Bio

One of New Zealand’s fastest bowlers Mitchell McClenaghan made his one-day international debut in January 2013.

The left-arm quick started his first-class career with the Central Stags, but moved to Auckland Aces in 2011-12.

He took 35 wickets in ten games for the Aces and was called into the New Zealand squad as a result.

His ODI debut was impressive, with McClenaghan taking 4-20 against South Africa.

The bowler was only the second player to take four wickets on debut for New Zealand in the 50-over game.

The ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 will be his first.
