Like you, we can’t wait to experience the incredible cricket this summer including the Men’s & Women’s Ashes! Rest assured in this constantly changing COVID-19 landscape we, along with our venues, will operate in accordance with the relevant COVID safety plans to ensure that your experience at the cricket is as safe as reasonably possible.
The COVID safety plan applicable for your venue and match will be made available here and on the venue’s website closer to the event. In the meantime, please read below the measures in place when purchasing a ticket.
- When you buy a ticket, we’ll keep your contact details for COVID-19 contact tracing purposes.
- Only mobile tickets will be available. if buying for a group, please make sure everyone has their ticket if possible (so we can track individuals if we need to).
- Download and use the Australian Government’s COVIDSafe mobile app and keep it active at the match.
- By attending a match, you acknowledge that there’s still a risk of transmission of viral illness including COVID-19.
- Please share all COVID-19 information, policies and health issue waivers with anyone you have bought tickets for – and make sure they're aware of these rules.
Attending a match interstate
Prior to travelling please refer to the current border restrictions within your state and of the state you wish to travel to, as these may limit your ability to attend a match.
Do I need to be full vaccinated to attend?
While we are yet to hear formally from each of the venues whether double vaccination will be required to enter the venue, we believe this is highly likely. We understand that this requirement may affect some of you or your guests if you do not intend to be double vaccinated by the time of the match and do not hold a relevant medical exemption.
In the event that it does, for International matches you can request a refund on your ticket/s up to 72hours prior to the match by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org with the Match day, ticket purchaser name, Customer ID/Order Confirmation, details of the tickets to be refunded.

Where can I purchase tickets?
Cricket Australia’s authorised ticket agents are Ticketek and Ticketmaster. Tickets purchased through any other source can be cancelled without notice with no refund or compensation.
Where are the tickets for Day 5 of the Test?
Entry to Day Five of the Test will be a donation to one of our charity partners. Because we need everyone to have a ticket this season for contact tracing, you will be able to make your donation and get your tickets from Ticketek from the conclusion of play on Day Four.
Will all tickets be seated together?
Tickets purchased in a single order at the same time will be seated together, or in accordance with COVID safety plans.

Please be aware that due to COVID-19 we unfortunately may not be able to fulfil your booking, or your group members may be required adhere to additional rules or regulations.
What is the age limit for a child ticket and are these available in all price categories?
For International matches children are classified as 15 years and under as of the time of the match, please note due to COVID-19 every person attending must have a valid ticket.
Please contact your BBL Clubs as the age limits may differ.

What constitutes a “Family’ for the Family ticket?
A family ticket consists of 2 adults and 2 children. Those attending as a family do not need to be related to each other.

How will tickets be delivered
All tickets will be issued as mobile tickets from the ticket agent. You will be able to share these with other people you are attending with as well.
Why aren’t all seats available for sale?
At all venues, there are a range of operational matters which require some tickets to be held in reserve seating that subsequently may become available to the general public closer to the match. For example, our broadcast requirements, sightscreen etc.
What are accessible seats and how are these purchased?
This includes wheelchair spaces and enhanced amenity seating. Enhanced amenity seating might be on an aisle, involve less stairs or have more space around the seating position.

What is a price category?
Each price category is an indication of seat locations in the venues. ‘Category A’ tickets will generally provide more shade coverage throughout the day and are in a premium viewing position when compared to the lower price categories.
Is there a way get a refund or resell a ticket?
Refund or exchange of tickets are only applicable if the match has been cancelled, rescheduled, relocated, washed out or for COVID-19 related reasons. Please refer to the National Refund Policy available here to check if you are eligible for a refund
You may resell your tickets at the same price you bought them for, however the resale of tickets at a premium is a breach of the Ticket and Entry Conditions, available here. A breach of these could result in:
Cancellation of all affected tickets without notice; and/or being refused admission to, or evicted from the Venue, without refund of the ticket price or compensation of any kind.In addition, the resale of tickets in certain circumstances is governed by ticket sales legislation in each state and may attract criminal penalties.
Does the ticket cover public transport to the venue?
The advertised ticket price includes public transport on match day to the following venues: Adelaide Oval, The Gabba, and Perth Stadium
