Frank Worrell Trophy dates confirmed

Dominica and Jamaica to host Tests in June as Australia seek to extend domination over West Indies

Venues for Australia's two-Test tour to the West Indies in June for the defence of the Frank Worrell Trophy have been confirmed.

Australia will play the first Test at Windsor Park, Roseau, in Dominica, starting on June 5.

The second Test will start on June 13 at Jamaica's Sabina Park in Kingston.

The tourists will play a warm-up match at a venue yet to be determined before the first Test, starting on May 30.

Australia visited Dominca on their last tour of the region in 2012, a 75-run win securing a 2-0 series victory on the back of a first-innings century by wicketkeeper Matthew Wade and five second-innings wickets to captain Michael Clarke.

Australia last played at Sabina Park in 2008, where Ricky Ponting's 158 and Stuart Clark's 5-32 helped the tourists to a 95-run win.

Australia have held the Frank Worrell Trophy since 1995 and will be seeking a tenth consecutive series win over the Caribbean side.

The second Test is schedule to finish on June 17, giving the Australian team a week before the first match of this year's Ashes tour of the British Isles – a four-day game against county side Kent at Canterbury, starting on June 25.

The first Ashes Test starts on July 8 at Cardiff's Sophia Gardens.
