It was a night of celebrations for the victorious Australians as they lapped up the glory with family and friends
World champs savour the sweetest triumph
It's not every day you're crowned a world champion, so it was only right that Australia's players cherished the experience in Melbourne through the night with coaching staff, family, friends and of course each other.
Coach Darren Lehmann also took what was a very entertaining call from radio hosts Fitzy and Wippa after a night of celebrations, which you can listen to here:
