The Rebel Women's Big Bash League has already provided plenty of highlights featuring some of the world's best players
Power plays of WBBL|02 so far
The Player: Sophie Devine has been in imperious form for the Adelaide Strikers, starring with the bat in each of Adelaide's three outings to date. The Kiwi allrounder is yet to fail with the bat, scoring three forties on the trot to be the leading run-scorer of WBBL|02 with 127 runs at 63.50.
The innings: Deandra Dottin's blistering innings of 66 from 40 balls against the Sixers in the opening round of WBBL|02 still ranks as the best of the tournament thus far.
The Match: Nothing is more entertaining in a T20 game than watching a Super Over. So when the Melbourne Renegades and the Hobart Hurricanes clash in Bendigo ended in a tie, the winner had to decided by a thrilling Super Over, which went right down to the final ball!
The Catch: While there have been a few catches spilled early in the season, there have still been some absolute screamers. The one that tops the list is Meg Lanning's outstanding over-the-shoulder effort against the Sydney Thunder in Albury.
The Shot: There have already been 42 sixes hit in WBBL|02, with Devine and India star Harmanpreet Kaur each hitting five towering blows. But while Kaur's stunning six over cover even brought a smile to bowler Gemma Triscari's face, it was Melbourne Stars Emma Inglis' thumping six that landed on the roof at North Sydney Oval which has been the shot of the season thus far.
The Fielding: The catching may have been patchy at times so far, but the ground fielding has been phenomenal. Players have inflicted run-outs from all around the ground, some even without looking at the stumps.
