Moises Monday: Henriques high-scores in Sydney Smash

A long-time member of the Sydney Sixers, Moises Henriques was at his very best in this one-sided all-NSW affair.

Batting at first drop, he combined with Daniel Hughes to help the men in magenta cruise to a nine-wicket victory.

Tremain Tuesday: Vic quick silences the Scorchers

Fresh off a training camp with the Australian Test squad, Chris Tremain wasted no time settling in to his Renegades red.

A strong Perth Scorchers top order offered no match as Tremain quickly claimed the wickets of Cameron Bancroft, Shaun Marsh and Mitch Marsh.

Warner Wednesday: Davey blasts first ever Big Bash century

The first ever sighting of the Melbourne Stars and Sydney Thunder was shaped as a battle of Warne vs Warner.

The latter comprehensively prevailed. Just a week after his first Test century, David Warner lit up the MCG with a scintillating 102 from 51 balls.

Finch Friday: A famous ton under the roof

When Aaron Finch punished Shane Warne’s first over for 19, there was an inevitable sense that he could be set for a big score.

Few, however, could have expected the demolition to follow. The Renegades opener hit 12 fours, four sixes to record a monster score of 111.
