Big Bash Fantasy is back!

As the summer of cricket braces itself for yet another exciting season of KFC BBL, the tournament’s official fantasy game promises to be equally exciting and engaging – with amazing prizes in store for winners! The Big Bash Fantasy has two exciting formats available this season – the daily fantasy and the classic game. Participants can play the daily fantasy from the first game till the end of the tournament, covering all 61 games of the league. The classic game comes to an end after January 27th, at the end of the regular season – making it a total of 56 games spread across seven rounds of 8 games each.

Build your team

What’s the winning formula? Is it prioritising big scores from opening batters or targeting allrounders who can chip in with runs and wickets? Maybe you’ll form a bowler-friendly team and hope for a low-scoring contest on the field.

Dream 11 gives players 100 credit points to build their perfect Big Bash Fantasy team. Players are valued from 1-12 credit points each, with the proven stars of the competition the most expensive to acquire.

Build your Dream 11 using 1 wicketkeeper, a minimum of 3 batters, a maximum of 2 allrounders and a minimum of 3 bowlers. Next, pick a captain for double points and a vice captain for 1.5x points.

This season, there are three more weekly add-ons available for participants to further boost the points they score. These include Super Striker (6x points for every boundary hit), Bowling Machine (2x points for every wicket) and Star Skipper (3x captain points).

Don’t forget to submit your team well before the deadline for each game!

In the daily fantasy, you can edit and alter your team as much as possible before the deadline. In the classic version of the game, however, there are five transfers allowed per round – making it more exciting and challenging to pick your XI after each game.

Irrespective of what format you favour, once the match is over, it’s time to pick again. Learn from your mistakes and lean on your favourites over and over again.

Prizes

This season, Big Bash Fantasy has $250 prizes to be won every day in the daily fantasy! What’s more, this doubles up on Super Saturdays when there are two games instead of one.

Keen on playing the patient game? The winner of the classic format has a money-can’t-buy experience including flights, accommodation, tickets and VIP access to the BBL final! Other winners who make it to the top ten on the leader board can take home more prizes as well as official merchandise.

It is clarified that Concussion Substitutes will be awarded only two (2) points for making an appearance (other than the points awarded for their sporting contributions) in a match as opposed to the four (4) points which are awarded to a player who is named in the starting eleven of a particular match.
