Scoop Podcast: new beginnings with Holly Ferling

The multi-talented fast bowler chats about life in Canberra, what it's like to be part of a Test broadcast and the road ahead with the Perth Scorchers

Not only has Holly Ferling been a professional cricketer for almost a decade, the Queensland-born fast bowler has also established a career as one of cricket's most talented broadcasters through her work on Channel Seven's coverage of both the men's and women's games.

As Ferling herself remarked, it's easy to forget she's just 26-years-old.

Ferling joined Laura Jolly and Emily Collin on the Scoop Podcast for a wide-ranging conversation about her new life in Canberra alongside the ACT Meteors, and the leadership experience she's gaining through working with the young squad.

She also shares what it's like to work alongside some of the most experienced and professional broadcasters in cricket, and how she manages to balance her television commitments with the demands of being a professional cricketer.

Ferling will don orange with the Perth Scorchers in the upcoming season of WBBL and is thrilled with the opportunity to work with the Sophie Devine-Shelley Nitschke duo in Perth.
