Tanvir fined for obscene send-off
Pakistan bowler Sohail Tanvir has been stung with a hefty fine for his obscene gesture after dismissing Australia allrounder Ben Cutting.
Cutting, playing for the St Kitts & Nevis Patriots, had blasted Tanvir for a massive straight six in the Caribbean Premier League T20 game against the Guyana Warriors.
The bowler responded by firing in a pin-point yorker that pegged back the middle stump to dismiss the Queenslander for 15 from 14 balls.
A stony-faced Tanvir gave the departing Cutting a double-barrelled salute with the middle digit extended on both hands.

Tanvir was fined 15 per cent of his match fee, after accepting the sanction.
Chris Lynn, a Brisbane Heat teammate for Cutting, who is also playing in the CPL for the Trinbago Knight Riders, took to social media to slam the gesture.
"Pathetic send off from Tanvir," he tweeted at the time.
Guyana won the match by six wickets as Tanvir finished with 1-24 in his four overs. His efforts with the ball helped hold St Kitts & Nevis to 5-146 as Guyana chased down the target in the 17th over.
Tanvir, last season's highest wicket-taker, was retained by Guyana for US$160,000 (A$220,000) this season.
Guyana and St Kitts & Nevis next meet on August 28.
