Chris Morris was a late bloomer, who made his first-class debut at 22 and only came to the attention of the national selectors when he was well into his mid-20's

He has been a prominent figure in T20 cricket and was bought in the IPL auction for US$625,000 in 2013.

Morris has represented South Africa in all three formats, originally debuting in T20I's in 2012 with his Test debut coming four years later.
