Bio

Like his Australia Under-19s skipper Jake Doran, Jordan Gauci also hails from Blacktown in the west of Sydney.

Both attended Hills Sports High School - albeit several years apart - and Gauci followed in the footsteps of Doran when he was selected in the Australia  Under-19s squad for the Youth Ashes tour in mid-2015.

He made an immediate impression in the only Test of the series in Durham when he scored a century.

The first member of his family to play cricket, Gauci played in the Under-17s National Championships for New South Wales in 2014 and then in the Under-19 National Championships two years later.

Gauci was rewarded with a NSW rookie contract in 2017-18.
