Keaton Jennings is an extremely determined opening batsman. He announced his arrival in the County Championship scene in 2016 when he was named player of the year, after amassing 1548 runs for Durham which included seven hundreds.

In December 2016, Jennings was rewarded with an England Test cap, playing against India in Mumbai. He appeared to stamp his authority at Test level with 112 on debut but since then he has been light on for runs, making three ducks in his next eight innings.

The left-hander will want to find his form of 2016, if he is to remain a part of the England Test side.
